The NYU Clinical Cancer Center's Health & Education Resource Center is a consumer health library which provides free and confidential access to information on cancer care, cancer prevention and general wellness. A medical librarian is available for consultation, literature searching and assistance in finding high quality health websites. In addition, the Health & Education Resource Center has a unique collection of consumer health books, brochures and periodicals, as well as medical and nursing textbooks. Internet access to medical information and specialized medical databases is also available. Through this library, NYU is pleased to provide additional health information to support informed medical decision-making.
